I'm not saying anything about guilt. Read the news articles and see for yourself. Conviction has little to do with actual guilt or innocence. I know I would not want to be associated with MRC based on the reported evidence. Disassociating ones self at this time would be taking a stand against the alleged acts. Keeping an association with them may project some things to the public that you'd rather not be thought of for. I made a suggestion, the club may do as it wishes. After reading many of the news articles I'm filled with disgust over the whole thing and being a parent makes it even worse. I could not support them and conversely I would be unable to support anyone that did.
As a side note MRC will probably cease to exist in short order and be acquired and unveiled as a different entity. The arrest coupled with the charges will be its undoing.

MRC has already been bought and will be carried on. Here is an email form the new company to the Atlanta club.

"SouthEast Aquariums has made an offer that has been accepted to purchase My Reef Creations' assets. We will be running MRC under new ownership soon, and will be managing it as if it is under new ownership starting immediately.
This is a business decision we thought about a good deal, and although we don't in any way condone the alleged actions of the previous owner, we feel that buying the business would be a help to Andy's wife, who was a part owner, his children, and to Southeast Aquariums, who is looking to continue to sell the quality products. Andy Diass will not be involved in any way with MRC - this is a complete buyout of the name, equipment, customers, and everything related to the business itself.
We hope that the ARC will continue to have MRC as a sponsor under its new management, and that the club recognizes that the previous owner's actions do not reflect in any way the thoughts or actions of the new owners.
Under the circumstances, we are not able to access all functions of the business yet, so we apologize in advance for the next couple of weeks as we sort through passwords and such. The new MRC will honor all warranties of the old MRC as an act of goodwill, and we look forward to continuing to supply the reef community with quality products."

I'm fine with a total dissociation between the new owners and its ex-owner(s) and I just came back to edit my post because I just read about the sell but I see it has already been reported.
I think the new ownership my find that a change of name may be in order because the stench will follow it regardless of what happens. It always does.
When I refer to MRC , I'm referring to Andy. Because while he owned it, it was one and the same as far as I was concerned.
The sad part is that, to many, the link will exist for a long time.

Don't forget that all the negetive post and judgements do effect family members of this situation that are also victims, they did not ask for this to happen. I can't imagine the hurt, pain, Humiliation and healing they will go through. I hope their true friend stand with them in this terrible time. I am not Condoning the actions of this man, however I do know the media and press blow up events 110%. The reason I post this is because we knew a family that went through something and the media had made it so much worse that the actual act. He did serve his time in prison he did not have physical contact with the victum same as in this case. These type acts are the same as other addiction. The people do need counseling and help. Keep in mind I am not condoning this nor has it said that he physically touched girls or raped anybody which is much worse, and thank God he was caught before he escaladed to that situation.
But everyone has an Opinion and that is just mine.

sorry, but if you have been chatting with an undercover agent for months who you think is an under-aged girl, there isn't mch to be proved, especially with video sent to the agent/girl.
trust me i've been involved with the law before and the innocent until proven guilty is a great idea, but in some cases it's pretty cut and dry.
sorry, i just have no sympathy for people who perpetrate sex crimes against children.
