mucus looking thing..?

I been noticing some clear mucus looking thing swinging along in my tank, and now today I turned on the tank and they are literately everywhere. can someone explain what this is? and how to get rid of it?. thanks

A pic would help. It could be vermetid snails, or some fish shed their slime coat when the get excited (feeding time).

well i dont have no snails i my tank. Ill try to take some pics...but it mostly cleared out. but it might come again tomorrow.
