Mucus on Gracilaria ?

Can anyone help me understand what is going on here ?

It never use to do it and has been growing well. Now its got this clear coating all over. Not sure what it means.

It looks sorta bacterial. I had something similar when I tried carbon dosing, too early in my tank's development.
