no not on the car.
does anyone know of a diy way of quieting the air venturi hose on my skimmer with out reducing flow? i put a wood air stone on the end but it doesnt give enough flow. a sponge wrapped around give no noise reduction. any ideas?

make a silencer like you see on the higher end skimmers with a pill bottle that some perscription drug came in.... take a bottle drill 2 holes, put the utbing into the bottom one and a small piece of tubing into the top hole....

If thats still not enough you can add some polyfill pillow stuffing into the bottle as well.

Do a google search on "pill bottle skimmer" and some stuff should come up.
