Multi-banded pipefish feeding

hey everyone,
hopefully this doesnt sound stupid, but i had some questions about feeding my new pipefish. i had just planned on it eating bbs, but while i was acclimating it ate! even in the bag i just tossed in some frozen cyclops (not cyclopeeze) diff. brand. but it went to town on them. and its eaten every time i fed them. so i was wondering if i could just make that it's staple diet. i compared the nutrition analysis to mysis and it beat the mysis on everything, so would it just be fine to feed it the cyclops instead of bbs? or should i still supliment with bbs? i just thought the frozen would be easier. also, I've heard different suggestions for how often to feed them so what are all of you doing?

anything is better than bbs. try to vary the diet if you can. since hes eating frozen, try all sorts of frozen foods, including mysis.

I don't know bout the cyclops though, since I'm pretty sure that they have really hard shells that may be hard to digest...

any ideas on how often to feed? is 2xday good?

I have 2 Dragon face pipefish I feed mines live bbs 2 x a day also I have a problem with them not eating any frozen food donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t know what to do I got them a week ago from LFS their about 3- 4 inches.

I hope they'll eat frozen food soon.

2x a day is good, some people aim for 3x a day.

make sure your filtration system can handle it, and/or do lots of water changes!!!

ya im depending more on the water changes. besides, it encourages me to change out on my reef too.
