multi controler vr single controler?

I have decided on a 6000 stream for my 75 gallon acropora reef, I read that one 6000 should be plenty for a 75 gallon, But I will upgrade the tank in the future perhaps next year to a 4 x 2 x 2...or a larger system...would I be better served by purchasing a multi controler now...Can a single 6000 run off a multi controler...I would hate to purchase a single contoler just for it to be used for a year and put in the closet...Also can different stream models run off the same controler?

I guy that I saw his setup has a 110g with two 6000 and multicontroller 7094 and the flow was amazing, before I questioned the prize but now i'm sold,

Two 6000s would be cool, but I also need to purchase a chiller this year also lol If I showed up with two 6000s there would be trouble in the scuba dg household lol, my wife can chuck a highheel like a boomerrang....down the road when I bump up a tank size or two...then ill add some extra streams.......ouch still thinking about chiller prices lol...

You can run one 6000 on a multi and yes one is certainly plenty for a 75, one would be plenty on a 120 if you coupled it with the wavebox so you can make that decision down the road.

was thinking on having both making like an X on both back corners, though that one would be hitting corals with one direction,

It would be alot of flow, not to much but why not start with one and if you find that is enough buy a single controller for it. If you want more get a second and the multicontroller.
