Multi-Controller and 55 gallon tank

Hello,
I have a 55 gallon tank. I have a 7300 in each corner in the rear of the tank. If I turn both pumps on at the same time it is too much current for the brain that sits in the center of the tank. What I'd like to do is turn the left pump on and then off and then turn the right pump on then off. Both need to be able to be turned on/off at the minimu output. Is that possible with the multi-controller? Is it possible to controller the output along with them being turned on/off?

Thanks,

-Brent

Yes, you will use tide mode- two arrows pointed at each other, plug the puimps into the first and last sockets and the interval light comes on. Then set the interval between the two pumps and then set the pulses to be low speed and it should work as you say.

One more question. Does the tide mode, since it's turning the pumps on/off, burn the pumps out faster? Also, is it worth waiting for the 4095, if so when would I be able to purchase it since it sounds like there is a limited quantity.

Another question, is the wave maker available for purchase and would that be a better alternative for my 55 gallon aquarium. I'm having real problems getting a suitable current for the corals. The pump is in the corner pointed to the other side of the tank.

Thanks,

-Brent

I am unsure what wavemaker you are speaking of?

As for tide mode, the start is moderated by the electronics and this prevents any damage so no, the pumps will not be harmed. In this situation you would not have any gains by going to the 7095. The 7095 is expected in a couple weeks but I don't expect any will be left after filling existing orders, more should arrive before Christmas.
