Multi-Controller Question

Hi Roger,
I'm a little confused by the instruction booklet on settings. Is it possible to have (two pump setup) one pump ramp down in power as the other ramps up?

Also, what setting(s) would you recommend for an Acropora spp. dominated tank?

I would set the multicontroller to pulse mode- middle setting. Then set the channel one knobs to 100% and 30% top to bottom. Then set channel 2 at 30% and 100%. Set the pulse length to about 3seconds- halfway on the knob. Every three seconds one pump will cut down as the other speeds up. I know the multicontroler manual could be better- it just really has alot of features and can be hard to explain, of every product this one took me the longest to fully understand. Let me know what you want to do exactly and I will see if ther is a way to do it.

I guess I want to create as rough (high flow/alternating) a wave action as possible.

I think the method I suggested will give the best overall turbulence. You might play with different pulse lengths.
