Multibar Angel Coloration?

So all the multibar angels I've seen look more or less like this:

But I'm running across some images that show yellow bands, like this:

Is this the mature coloration of the fish? Male coloring? A different subspecies?

Ive seen them come in to wholesalers from several different locations and have never seen the 2nd one but in pictures. Not sure where it comes from but it sure is pretty!

Maybe not quite what you're after, but as an example out of Vanuatu:

So, am I seeing this correctly...they actually all have faint yellow bands in between the dark bands?

They sure do! I've had my trio for a year now and I can see the yellow more in the male but it is present in all 3. My understanding is that it comes in more with age...

From what I've seen locally in mature adult fish, some have narrow yellow bands and some have wider ones - probably determined by the number of bands I guess. I'm not sure that this distinction is enough for me to choose one over another. JM2c.
