multicontroller problem

i have a multicontroller and 2 stream 6000 in my 4' 120g. i am just running them in a pulse mode. i am planning on getting 2 more 6000's and probably running in tide mode. well tonight i had to clean my pumps and thought i would play around with the modes some. of course i lost my manual and am running off of memory, which isnt that great. i plugged the pumps into the controller in ports 1 and 4, which i believe is 8 and 11 in the manual, either way the outside ports. selected tide mode, the very top of the switch,----nothing. not one light came on. i can go the the bottom of the switch, sequential i believe it is, and the interval light comes on and runs its cycle. any ideas?

Their are many possibilities. First, retry connecting the pumps to the controller but without power, then plug in the pumps. Make sure both pumps work without the controller as well. If one pump is dead this could cause it as well.

both streams work fine. i unplugged everything and tried again. when i did this nothing happens,. pumps dont come on, no lights on the controller. it works in fine in the other 2 modes thou.

I asked Axel about this this morning we can only suspect something is wrong with the actual switch. The switch consists of a ball in a track that slides with the black plastic piece you push and this contacts the points inside to close the circuit, it sometimes happens the ball comes off the track or a small amount of salt corrodes the ball/ contacts in place. Send it to me and I will get it taken care of.
