Multiple chromis in a 65G?

So I have decided that I do not want any "large" fish in my 65G. I currently have two baby ocellaris clowns, bi-color blenny, Yasha shrimp goby, and two firefish. Everything is full grown except the clowns. Are chromis suitable for my tank? I am wanting a fish that is out in the open more and will swim around the tank while adding some color. Is is possible to keep multiple green/blue chromis in a 65G tank? Thanks for any help.

That sounds like alot for a 65g. I would be careful with adding more fish.

Once the clowns get bigger they should come out more. Especially when its time to eat!

Do you have any inverts? Why dont you try a pair of skunk cleaner shrimp, they are always up to something.

All depends on your filtration.

in my 58g i have
Wanatabei angle male 7"
Sailfin Tang 4"
12 line wrass 4"
Perc pair 3" and 2.5"
Flame hawk 3"
Engineer Goby 13"
Manderin Dragonet 2.5"
and 3 1" chromis

I started off with 8 of them and in the first 3 weeks 4 were left(as to my prediction) and then last week one more dissapeared.

I dont see a problem in keeping them just just be aware that they have a pretty high mortality rate. I would highly suggest watching them eat and picking out the largest ones you can find.

what i did was buy twice the amount i wanted. cause after the stress of shipping and acclimation half die withing 2 weeks.

Nothing in my tank is over 2" or 3" long, I couldn't imagine my tank is overstock. I don't have any nitrate or ammonia issues at all so I'm sure my tank can handle to bioload of a few chromis. Now putting a Sailfin tang in a 58G, well that is just wrong. Not because of bioload but how much swimming room that fish will need.
