Multiple clown pairs questions

We want to upgrade our tank size to combine 2 tanks. What is the minimum length you would house two pairs?

I think we'll probably keep the height the same as a 75 gal tank.

Thanks!

You can`t have two pairs . They will fight till someone or all die . Only time you can have more than two is when they are juveniles .

Why type of clows? It makes a BIG difference.

Two pair of ocellaris would be fine in a 4ft tank (provided that you have at least two anemones). On the other hand, two pair of clarks would be a really bad idea in any tank < 300gal.

Two adult pairs of Ocellaris will fight .

Not to hijack the thread, but what about a set of live caught false percs and a set of tank bread yellow stripe maroons?

You should not mix clown species especially with maroons .

If you want to have maroons and percs in the same tank, you will need probably 400 to 500 gallons, and even then it will be iffy.

I have a 50 gallon that is separated in half by a blue piece of acrylic with holes drilled in it. Works perfect for 2 pair of clowns.

two pairs of percs/ocellaris can not occupy the same tank unless its very large and they are both hosting different nems
