Hey

I was wondering what you guys think about getting 3 med/small sized diamond watchman gobies in the same tank. I have a 210 Gallon tank with a decent amount of rockwork

Thanks!

well i just sent a message to liveaquaria.com and this is the reply I recieved

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for your e-mail. Due to possible aggression, we do not recommend housing multiple Diamond Watchman Gobies unless they are a mated pair.

I have to agree with their reply.

Many many years ago I had one --- didn't see it for a couple of weeks, and assumed that it had jumped, even though I could never see it.

Anyways, I picked up another one. Well, found the first one very shortly, WWIII.

Not that I have been looking, but I have never seen a mated pair, so think you would be better off getting 1 large one.

BTW, Diamond Gobies are NOT watchman gobies, they are sleeper gobies and dig up and eat anything in your sandbed, including beneficial critters.

I have 2 yellow watchmans in the same tank, and they do fine....Also have a GH sleeper...the 2 watchmans were form the same tank @ the LSF and are small (about 1 1/2") they hand out in the same tunnel under the rock..
