Multiple fish species breeding

I have a breeding pair of clowns in my 40 breeder. If I add 2 banghai Cardinals is impossible for them to breed also or will the clowns breeding not make them want to and vice versa? Thanks.

I don't think the breeding clowns will inhibit the Cardinals. The only possible issue in a tank that small might be the aggressiveness of the clowns.

I agree, my clowns and cardinals both breed in my 75 gal. just fine. I think a 40br will be fine for both.
