in my 90g i have one cleaner shrimp, i would like to add either another cleaner, fire red ( ithink thats the name) or a peppermint
will they get along, my cleaner has his own rock on one side of the tank and never leaves it
Usually, that's a fine combination, although the fire shrimp (Lysmata debelius) tend to hide in the rock a lot. They are deeper-water animals. The peppermints are often less shy.
In my 58 I have a pair of cleaners and a pair if peps. No issues b/t them. THe only thing is I only see the peps at night, when the lights are off. The cleaners are out all the time.
I've found that the skunk cleaner is a nice shrimp since they tend to be out in the open a bit more than the others. I'd say the bad guys of shrimp are the coral banded, which you need to have a male and female pair or one will kill the other and they are somewhat rough on other shrimp and will try to catch a fish on occasion.
