Multiple Toby Puffers?

Can you keep two different species of Tobys in a fairly large tank, like a 125?

been hit or miss for me. introduced at the same time and of similiar size has been the best bet. kept blue spotted and valentini successfully.

Anything is possible but from what I have seen I would not risk going that route, why not just get another fish instead of trying? If you do try it, you should have a backup plan in case you have to move one. I also think a 125 is not that large. If you have tons of open rock/hidding spaces it may greaten your chance for success giving your tank more areas to roam. Were you thinking Hawaiian Bluespot and Valentini?

I was thinking Hawian Blue Spot and Valentini. Pufferpunk here at RC has also sucessfully kept this combination. But I agree with you it is not worth the chance. My current stocking thoughts are as follows:

1. Picasso Trigger
2. Paddlefin Wrasse
3. Harlequin Tusk
4. Purple Tang
5. One Spot Foxface
6. Honey Comb Toby Puffer
7. Flame Hawk
