Multiple Zebrasoma Tang Question

I currently have a Zellow Tang that I plan on moving to our new 240 gallon tank (8'x2'x2') once it's done cycling.

I would like to add a purple tang as well. I know that Zebrasomas need to be added in odd numbers, so in my case 3.

My question is:
If I add the Yellow soon, will it be OK to quarantine and add another Yellow and Purple tang to the 240 4-6 weeks after the original Yellow Tang has been in the tank?

Or should I try to quarantine the new Yellow and Purple right now and add all 3 tangs into the 240 at once?

I have the tanks and equipment to QT the Purple and new Yellow in their own tanks, but would rather just focus on getting the 240 ready right now.

The thought just hit me today that adding two Zebrasomas to one already established Zebrasoma might work.

I'd love to hear all of your thoughts and experiences on the matter :D

i cant speak for your fish but my yellow and purple get along just fine,
tank fowlr 7 x 2 x 2
had yellow 1st,
added purple,
purple was bigger than yellow
only 2 zebras but other tangs in tank

I have a black and yellow in mt 265 added at the same time with no issues black was 1/3 larger than the yellow so in case of aggression i would not risk the black . If you could QT both I would . that way they both have a new tank unless there is a difference in size. In that case I would put the smaller in display tank first

I have kept multiple tangs in all my different tanks. I think the only potential issue I see is that sometimes a pair of tang (2 yellows) will chase each other. Adding an odd number sometimes lessens those issues. So Add 2 yellows and a purple to the existing yellow.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking I'll just QT the other yellow and purple before I add the existing yellow into the 240.

Looks like 3 at one time will be the best approach. :)
