I currently have a Zellow Tang that I plan on moving to our new 240 gallon tank (8'x2'x2') once it's done cycling.
I would like to add a purple tang as well. I know that Zebrasomas need to be added in odd numbers, so in my case 3.
My question is:
If I add the Yellow soon, will it be OK to quarantine and add another Yellow and Purple tang to the 240 4-6 weeks after the original Yellow Tang has been in the tank?
Or should I try to quarantine the new Yellow and Purple right now and add all 3 tangs into the 240 at once?
I have the tanks and equipment to QT the Purple and new Yellow in their own tanks, but would rather just focus on getting the 240 ready right now.
The thought just hit me today that adding two Zebrasomas to one already established Zebrasoma might work.
I'd love to hear all of your thoughts and experiences on the matter
