I saw this clam at this pet store the other day it was a maxima, and it had a blue spot along the side and a small blue spot on the bottom, the rest of the clam was green and orange ish, it was about 3 inches in total length, do you think that clam would have kept that blue spot or do you think it would eventually color to be blue? please pm me if you know the answer because id like to keep a look out for this in the future to maybe buy one if i ever see one like this again. and is the blue maxima more rare than the green and orange? what is the rarest besides black and white? and what is the best way to breed them if thats possible, so many questions and i know you guys out there can answer them haha. thank you all for reading.

breeding at home wont work, you need a very large setup to be successful. would love to see a pic of the clam in question, is tough to say what colours will stay and what patterns will evolve as the clam grows.

after the B&W's the blue / green teardrops are the most sought after, the goldens are very nice, just not as eye catching.
