So This weekend I decided to finally add some life to the tank, outside of the CUC, and picked me up a hammer, Duncan and red Acan. Beautiful corals and was so happy to have some movement on the rocks. Well I walk past my tank and looking at the Duncan I thought it looked rather retracted...at closer look I see my emerald crab giving it a haircut and eating the polyps! Took me a little bit but finally scared him off it and into the rock work. My question is, will these polyps grow back? the heads are there and still have color but no polyps. I still have a few larger heads that haven't been touched but nervous he may go back when the lights go out.
