If Glass, use a clean fresh razor to scrape it off and then put it in a clear cup with rubble in the bottom. Hopefull it will stay in the cup at the bottom of your tank in a well lit area and attach easy enough. You may need to put some mesh netting over the cup to keep it from running away....
I don't recomend it, but people slice and dice them to get multiple frags all the time.... I've even heard of a blender being used (unethical in my views, but they live threw it I am told.) Basically, if you want it off the glass don't be afraid to scrape it off.
