Hi, I have some green mushrooms on a rock, and some red mushrooms on another rock. I have the green ones on the left front side of the tank, and reds are on the right front side of the tank. The green ones were added to the tank on 8-2-2014, the red one was added on 11-12-2014. Well I dont understand the greens have been in the tank longer, but they are not reproducing. They open up big in the day about the size of a half dollar, and they appear to be healthy, just not growing. The red ones on the other hand have not been in the tank as long, and they are reproducing like crazy. They are both getting the same amount of light. The reds are in higher flow then the greens, could that matter? Or are the green ones a different kind and just grow slower? I will include some pictures of both the green ones and the red ones. Thanks for any help!

Placement is key. The red ones in my tank are in the 5in size while my ricks are the size of a penny. Move rics to more lighting. fuzzy mushrooms are the fun ones to grow. Give them time, move them around to find the spot.
