Mushroom Corals

I have a 37 gallon FOWLR tank with 30 pounds live rock, live sand, and a Reef Octopus 1000 skimmer. I have an led light with three white bulbs currently. Is this okay for mushrooms? If not, what light do I need? Also, will a dwarf angel pick at mushroom coral?

Yeah, need to know more about your light. If I were to guess though, if they're high up in your tank and close to the lights, I'd think they'd be fine. They are quite hardy and don't need tons of light.

Without proper illumination, some mushroom will not thrive. IME, those with striking colors requires more light, blue will appreciate much higher lighting intensity. I have blue electric shroom hidden from main lights, they are getting smaller until I put them under intense light. Brown and green are much forgiving, but you can tell they need more light when their stalk are elongated towards your artificial sunlight.

I have mushrooms growing in my fuge under just a 60watt spiral light 5200 k, I have seen them grow in super bright tanks and tanks that you wouldn't expect to grow a coral. I would say it cant hurt to try. just don't go crazy and start with anything expensive.
