Mushroom frag

Any suggestions on how to frag these. I am new to fragging and this mushroom has created about 5 new ones and would like to drag so I can get some on other rocks. Thanks.

I'd break the rock.

You can cut them in pieces, trying to get part of the mouth in each piece. Some say the mouth doesn't matter. They are fairly easy to propagate.

another option is to take a pair of dykes and just cut under the shroom taking a little rock with you so you do not have to worry about reattaching. If you would like to frag one into multiple frags you can cut through the sliver of rock as well and just glue that.

point a power head at the rock and after a couple hours to a day they should let go of the rock and float away like an anemone.

Chisel the rock underneath the base of the mushroom. Glue the small piece of rock to the new rock with the mushroom already attached. Live rock breaks very easily and you should be able to chisel a small piece under the mushroom. Or you dykes liked already mentioned.

If you want instant frags I would do as mentioned and chisel underneath taking some substrate with it. If you have time and want more frags you can cut through the the stock leaving a bit of the base behind which will regrow, and then take the piece you cut off, chop into several pieces and put them in a Tupperware type container in a very low flow area with some rubble or coarse sand in the bottom. Each piece will settle and regrow onto some of the rubble then remove after several weeks and glue to frag plug. Mushrooms are very easy to frag IME

+1 Cut the coral with the rock then glue it onto the rock. I would place it somewhere with medium circulation to avoid it coming off the rock.
