I have these mushrooms in my tank they are overtaking. How can I rid myself of these. I'm thinking of just taking out of tank and letting them die. Or maybe seeing if lfs will trade for new live rock.
I agree!! Any lfs would be glad to give you credit for all the mushrooms you dont want because that just gives them more money to make. My tank is covered in them as well, but I like it.
I see that pic didn't work too good. I think ill load em up and go to the lfs today. I just want other things in tank. They are covering the few button polyps that I do have. Thanks for replies.
Thank you! Pretty simple actually. A 46 or so gallon bow front - T-5. 4 bulb lighting, maybe 2 blue and 2 white ones a sump 2 fish and that's it 3 year old tank. I'm trying to take it slow. Learn a little before sinking a lot of money.
I let my shrooms grow as much as they want, until they get close to slow growing encrusting corals or zoas. Just take a razor to them and put them in the corner of the tank until u can find them a new home.
Please don't ever do that. There are amazing suggestions above that you could do, especially the one reguarding giving them away to new people in the hobby.
