Mushroom Moving

Got a couple of questions; need answers, please:

How does one (or can one even) move or remove a mushroom or a ricordea without breaking up the rock they are on? They are overgrowing each other, and overgrowing a colt coral. Can I snipe the colt off in the tank without hurting anything, and then reattach it to a rock with glue and move it elsewhere?

just clip them off at the base and rubber band them to another rock(the mushrooms) It willl regrow another where you cut it off but it will take a wile.
