if there are two mushrooms on one rock and one dies will it affect the other

It all depends on what killed it. Usually mushrooms will survive nuclear fallout so what makes you think the other died and not just shriveled up.

ohh a hypothetical question. I have a tendency of trying to get to the root problem of a question. Depending on what actually killed it and it only effected the one I would guess the other would be fine.
