Mushroom spliting?

I noticed my harry mushroom has a split running towards the mouth on one side. It only has one mouth, do mushrooms split like this the same as an anemone would?

no idea, most regular mushrooms move around and leave a piece of its foot behind to form into a new shroom.

If you want to help it along just slice it with a razor blade. I make some quick money sometimes by slicing up mushrooms with a razor blade and attaching them to rocks (takes a few days to attach) then grow them for a few weeks, then sell them to the LFS for some good $. Just slice 'em like a pizza, works every time.

The LFS stores here never buy anything. I brought in 12 frags of Kenya, 5 mushrooms, and a small cabbage coral and was offered 20.00 for all of it.

Wow, if i brought all that and my LFS offered me $20 for it I'd probably never go back. That's robbery IMO.

I worked in my LFS for five years so they buy whatever I bring in at a really good price or trade.

Yeah I try to buy everything online now, the stores here always have the same boring stuff anyways. My problem is I have never sold frags online and my tank is starting to get crowded.
