Mushroom strange?

I think this is a ricordea mushroom, I'm just wondering if it's normal for mushrooms to do this? I thought mushrooms were flat. This changes shape daily. Is it normal? It doesn't seem to grow much and hasnt spread.

yeah its totally normal for mushrooms to change shape throughout the course of the day and they are rhodactis mushrooms, nice looking ones too.

Drop a small piece of brine shrimp in the middle with no flow and watch them fold inwards.

My shrimps wouldn't leave it alone if I did that. Lol. Have the same problem with my acan, trying to feed it without the shrimps getting the food.

Exact reason why on this tank I didn't get any shrimp. Loved my cleaner shrimp Jacques but he wouldn't leave anything alone if it had food. So now I rely soley on snails.
