Mushroom Vanished!

Something odd happened in my 20H yesterday....
I have a red mushroom (one big one and little tiny ones under it) and I came home from work and I noticed the biggest mushroom vanished! Nothing of it was left not a stalk or piece of it :sad2: The tiny ones are still there but I remember seeing it majestic and open like it usually is up until the time gap at work yesterday!

Now you are wondering... whats in the tank livestock wise... well I have a peppermint shrimp (it ate a ricordea) and an emerald crab. Some snails (ceriths, nassarius), some blue legged hermits, yellow wrasse, clownfish, 2 mollies, and a firefish. Anyone have any thoughts... I really liked that mushroom and I dont know what to speculate. Besides the troublemaker pepppermint shrimp. Also, I have a green striped mushroom a few rocks away and there is no signs of it dying... it looks just as majestic and healthy as the red did.... Somone help?

It could of let go and floated to a new place. Mushroom let go sometimes so it might be behind something in your tank.

I agree, It's probably on the move and Is somewhere else in the tank where you can't see it at the moment.

Thanks guys, I read that somewhere after researching in a panic. I really enjoy that mushroom. It accents my tank nicely. I will search for it!

They like to detach which can be rather annoying as they will pop up randomly around the tank where you don't want them. I find little ones all the time in the back of my tank. I take a turkey baster and try to suck them up and than move them into a frag bowl on the sandbed so they can re-attach the rock rubble where I'll hand them out.

I searched for it, but I gave up lol, I got 5 others growing where it used to be placed. Oh well. Hopefully it will pop up again ha ha.

Quick update, I found it ha ha. It is deep within a crevice and latched it self there. I am happy to say it will be staying there because i have 5 little ones in the front
