Mushrooms and single bulb t8

Wondering if the stock T8 fixture on my Aqueon 36 gal bowfront set up would be sufficient enough to grow green hairy mushrooms? Want to see if I can mix it up a bit before I upgrade my lighting (planning on Maxspect Razor R420 27inch 160W. I can't decide between 10k or 16k though) because FOWLR is getting a bit boring!

I had purple mushrooms growing under a t8 or t12 for about 7 years. I rarely changed the bulb.

i think they would likely die slowly
