Mushrooms Hosting Emerald?

mushrooms hosting an emerald crab?can this happen,I just got a new mushroom colony from LFS two days ago and one of my emerald crabs found them and fell in love,He will not leave them alone,just pearched underneath one of them since he found them.Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

How long have you had the crab? Mine occassionally would hide behind my frogspawn and molt. Takes a couple days of sitting, then suddenly you freak because you see the empty crab shell tossing in the current. THen you realize there is a bigger crab taking care of business elsewhere in the tank...LOL

I have had it for only a few weeks as my tank is a new set up,the mushrooms only 3 days.but what you said makes since because his shell is starting to lighten up,thanks

I have one that sleeps on my pink nepthea in the branches.... Doesn't hurt it at all...
