mushrooms won't stick

Does anyone have any advice on how to make a new ricordea mushroom stick to a rock? I keep placing small rocks on top but a few hours later a hermit crab or maybe the current knocks it off. Will super glue work?

I just used a rubber band. If you can't use that, fasten them to a smaller rock first. They will eventually spread wherever you put them.

I have used rubber bands, but felt they were messing it up. I put them in a little container with rubble rock at the bottom of the tank and after a few days they are attached to them.
