I have several dozen fairly flat dark objects on the walls of my tank.While I do have some mushrooms in the tank growing typically near each other these other things are similar in size but attached flat enough to kill coralline algae by blotting out the light.there does not seem to be a stalk.Some have come off and have left blank spots on a surface otherwise covered in coralline algae.Nothing seems to be bothered by them but I was wondering what they might be.I do not have a digital camera or I would post a picture.Most of the tank is SPS with some LPS and a limited amount of soft corals as far as a 300g tank goes.Most of my softs are in 2 other tanks.Any guesses as to what I have?
Mushrooms?
