Mushrooms

So I bought like 4 mushrooms a few months ago and didnt know how to make them attach so i just put them in current took them. I moved my rocks a bit after that and found two that had attached so i am sure the others might be in there. My question is the big mushroom has its foot(for lack of a better term) attached to the rock and it looks like it is growing down on the rock a bit, Could more mushrooms grow off of this?

Mushrooms

I bought a single red mushroom on a 2" peace of rock. I just watched in the last week move around the back side of the rock and leave a small 1/4" mushroom behind. pretty cool.

So given the right condtions I should expect to see more starting to grow? I think there may be a very tiny one starting but only time will tell.

Just wedge in some frags in a low flow area and in 1 week they should attatche. You can also use a rubberband and 2 toothpics to hold on a frag. Just looses enough to keep from floating.GL

Also, if one is firmly attached, you can pluck it off. A new one will grow from the nub left on the rock, and you can place the original in a new spot.

Although, manually propogating most mushrooms isn't really necessary...they are pretty prolific. :)

I understand the rubber band, but what are the toothpicks for?
To hold it in place so it doesnt float away. It wont hurt it they are very hardy.
