It took me a while to stabilize the new 110g, got lot of help from Rhett for the plumbing, I had no clue what was going on. lol

I also feel like I am collecting alot of corals from people, but why it still looks empty?

1. Full view, Rhett, there's your flat piece

2. Star Polyp from Critter, it's pretty neat big piece

3. 4 of my SPS, couple from pickupman, they are still alive man! but one of them was RTN, I have no idea what happened.

5. Two Live Rocks from Critter, they have a lot of clams, which I need them to help me with Nitrate

6. Mushroom and Xenia also got from Critter. The mushroom went crazy in the tank, I still remember it when they were all babies.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/pelagic7/4593329543/" title="My Aquarium 5-9 2010 by pelagic7, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3059/4593329543_f393df0bde.jpg" width="500" height="313" alt="My Aquarium 5-9 2010" /></a>

7. My cave area with some interested pieces, I'd like to get more mushrooms to fill these 2 caves, if you have mushroom, ricordea, yuma, let me know.

8. Kenya tree, xenia, yellow polyp, mushroom.. etc
That Kenya tree is huge and keeps growing like crazy. As for the yellow polyp, it's still recovering from H2S toxin from my old DSB sand

9. Blue Tang from S.A. Still doesn't like to eat pellet food. I like it a lot, cause it acts funny all the time, just like cats

I also got 5 peppermint shrimps........ somewhere.... One is stolen from Kenny. lol

lookin nice. The clam looks sweet I didnt mind helping with the plumbing. Ive always had someone who helped me so I needed to return the favor to someone else.

Looking good, maybe a lil more rock and it'd look fuller. I put the 2 pepermints I got yesterday in my tank and haven't seen em since. Also I got some pink yuma, I'll give you a piece as there still small. You going to Zef's in couple weeks?

yea, I think getting more live rocks will help. and you mean the meeting? yea, I will be there, I don't know what can I bring with me thou. :p

There little I'll give it to you free, if thats what you meant by bring. There tiny like dime size, but grow very fast.

Is your Regal Tang eating anything at all???? I had a hard time to get it to eat anything for me at first. I happen to have some frozen cyclopeeze in my freezer. Sure enough it went for it. Then I started to train him to eat other types of food. He eats frozen mix, algae sheets, flakes, pellets, etc. Basically anything I feed now. Mine have grown quite a bit since the frag swap back in January.

cool........ wait a minute...... are you trying to give me a guilt trip for taking your shrimp? hehe.

Thanks man. :)

Yea, the clown and blue tang I got from S.A. are both like that. They only eat frozen mysis or brine shrimps. Pellets are not appealing for them.

I wonder what they feed the fish in S.A. I will try flakes tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.

I thought they were selling pellets of some sort to go along with their fish at the swap? Back then with my first pair of clowns from them they suggested frozen cyclopeeze when the baby clowns wouldn't eat anything I feed. It worked right away then I train them to eat other food over time. I change my food all the time to give them a variety. But stick to basics with algae sheets for my herbivores. I'm very observant with my fish more so then corals. Of course that's what got me into this in the first place was the fish. When my Naso Tang was sick he lost all the vibrant coloring even when he was gaining all his weight back, he look very pale to me. And I was feeding high quality frozen food for herbivores. Until I give him algae sheets, all the vibrant coloring came right back. So once you get your Regal trained to take other food, make sure to introduce algae sheet! My little one wasn't as vibrant as he should be at first until I got him to eat algae sheets. Now he's full of color.

All you need is time to make it look fuller;)
In a year or two it should fill in nicely.
IMO one thing to avoid is adding more rock, lots of people add too much rock at the begining only to remove a lot of it 2 or 3 years later.

Mine looks pretty empty too with nothing but frags, but you are off to a good start. Patience is key!

I had a hard time getting my SA fish to eat non frozen as well until I found some granulated food with Cyclopeze in it. It is made by Tetra, I think, and it is small red colored grains. They eat it like there is not tomorrow. After a week or so of eating that, I was able to get all of them to eat whatever kind of pellet or flake I throw in. I have a Rainford's, Two Onyx percs, a Yellow Coris, a GSM, and a Regal from SA, and they are all eating pellets now. I saw the food that SA was selling at the swap, and it was small granulated red pellets, so I looked for something that looked similar, and it worked for me.

Thanks Michael. I tried some flakes, and the blue tang loved it, it moved like lighting and ate all the flakes. lol. That leads me to think R.A. feeds their blue tang flake-ish food. I will make sure to get some algae sheet and give it a try. Funny thing is I didn't plan on getting the blue tang, it's my roommate who wanted it, now I really like this little fellow.

Yea, I've seen those tanks. hehe. I only have about 110lb right now. so I am thinking to get maybe 40lbs more, also for more stabilized system. :)

110 lbs is plenty for your tank. You are not going to get much more stability out of more rock. Just more cramped looking.
