my 110g

110 lbs is plenty for your tank. You are not going to get much more stability out of more rock. Just more cramped looking.

I agree with Adrian on this! When I build the new tank, I would not have as much rocks as I do now. It only creates more places for detritus to build up. I have taken out quite a bit of rocks out of both of my tanks since I had them setup.

Thanks for the advice, I guess I should be ok with only few fish.
I am still working on getting nitrate level down(5ppm atm).

Water change is the key!!! And I do mean multiple water change like every other day. Do you have any type of algae in your sump to help consume some of your nitrate?

I probably can't do water change that often. I am using Vodka and Coiled-Denitrator to control the nitrate. It might take a few more weeks to get them to work fully.

some updated pics. click for the larger pics.
Using Nikon D700, Sigma 105mm Macro.

Didn't take pics for the SPS area, can't get a good angle of it.

Looking good, filling in nicely. Glad to see the corals and the tang are looking good, he's fattening up nicely. I was always bad about feeding him daily, so he would get fat and then skinny. I feel bad now!
