Hey Everyone. I finally got some decent pics of my 120. It is kind of understocked atm, but i do have a 5-1/2in Mappa Puffer and am thinking about ordering one of those Scroll Filefishes off of Liveaquaria.

Current Inhabitants: Lrg. (6.5in) Clown Triggerfish, Picasso Triggerfish, Undulate Triggerfish, Lrg. (7in) Stars N' Stripes Pufferfish, Striped Dogface Pufferfish, Snowflake Eels (X2), Lrg. (5-6in) Silver Scat, Lrg. (6in) Common Mono, Lrg. (4.5in) Neon Damsel, Domino Damsel, Yellowtail Chromis/Damsel.

Soon To Add: (5.5in) Mappa Pufferfish, Scroll Filefish (off of Liveaquaria) ....

The tank had just got done some immense cleaning the day before. We had did a 45% waterchange. Scrubbed the glass, to free of algae. And removed all the decor and bleached for 24hrs.

Enjoy !! And let me know whatcha think !! :]

Antiloser - sounds like a good batch of fish.

Your bioload on the otherhand is about to get quite large. Your 120 will soon become waaaaay too small for even the Mappa to live in my himself.

Do you have any plans for an upgrade soon? With your fish list currently I would think you need at least 350+g.

Thanks for the input, ill have the pics up in about 10-15min. And yes, atm, as a graduation present from my parents to me, they are going to let me set up probably a 450+ in our basement. Although this isnt set in stone. But i do have a relative close buy with a 300 FOWLR. And i have grown out a few mappas in my past and either sold to a larger tank or had the lfs buy them back for a small profit, which many have started around 3in, and ive grown them out to abot 14in+, i have also done the same with about 4 orbic batfish when my tank wasnt soo agressive. Be back w/ pics shortly ....

Ok, Here are pics :]

I hope this worked ?!

Nice work Antiloser24. I love the ocean liner and your scat is awesome. Any way we can see a full tank shot?

Those three triggers might cause some problems with each other as time goes on so I would watch out for that.

Also filefish and triggerfish generally should not be mixed. Files are basically non-aggressive triggers - they are closely related to triggers and thus trigger vs file fish aggression is not uncommon, and unfortunately the files are too nice to fight back.

Thanks for the FTS Antiloser24. I love your skat and mono. How long have you had them? I really want some momos in my tank, but I heard they eat macro algae :(

Nice looking fish. It's great that you have developed so much experience and expertise while you are still in school. Don't take this the wrong way... I myself push the envelope a bit on stocking, but I think you are way, dangerously, overstocked at the moment. You are also very likely to have aggression issues with the undulate and the clown triggers. I would not add any more fish, especially passive fish like a mappa or a filefish. (EDIT: I realize you said you already have the mappa, so I guess that one's going in. I'd stop there and add not one more fish.)

Instead of waiting for graduation for a new tank, I'd see if you can set up a 75 for the undulate to live in by itself right now. That would eliminate a very high aggression risk, and relieve some of the bioload. Then get your larger tank, move the fish over, and think about adding more fish.

Those scrawled filefish do get truly huge, about 40 inches. I'm not sure even a 300 or 450 would be big enough for an adult, especially with a full load of other fish. They are very active fish. I understand you have been able to get rid of your mappas in the past, but you may not find it so easy with the file. I've seen them in public aquaria and in the ocean. They are impressive fish, but I'd worry about the size.
