Rich- Tank looks awesome. Your corals look really good. I think I might have asked you this before, if so I apologize. Could you please tell me what lighting is over your tank? VHO/MH/PC/K value of bulbs/wattage of bulbs/etc.

Tank Lighting is as follows:

Metal Halides: 2-250w, XM 10K's, powered by IceCap E-Ballasts
VHO's : 4-110W, URI-03 Actinics, powered by a IceCap 660
Installed Retro style............

I have the exact same aquarium, but I have to go with 2x175w MH (14K and 20K) and 3 URI 14K VHO's. Tryin' to save up for a 2x250w HQI ballast and a couple of ROIII pendants. Do you think that my acros will be okay under this lighting if I keep them at the very top of the aquarium? It'll probably be about 6 months until I can buy the 250w MH setup.

hey hans,
all these corals were under 175's in the 55g....they should be fine, yet you may or may not get the colors you want....to be honest, all my corals actually lightened up under the 250's and they are just now starting to show the nice dark colors......hence the photos...
