My 12gal nano dx (pic intense)

I have a 2005 nanocube 12dx that has been set up for nearly 2 months. The corals are all fairly recent additions.

I replaced the stock pump with a maxijet 1200 with a hydor flo. I have a current usa fission nanoskimmer in the rear center chamber.

Here's a full tank shot from today

This is my frogspawn, one head but it looks like it's splitting...

i think i went a bit overboard on the amount of corals for such a small tank. i'll be starting off a larger tank in a while and will move/frag some of this stuff into that bigger one.

any suggestions, comments? i need to clean off some algae from the tank, but it's very healthy and the corals are doing very well.

as far as fish, i want a clownfish, 2 if that's possible.

<for some reason the pictures aren't as big as i would have liked ... the last picture of the zoas doesn't do them justice, 7 varities in there.>

after looking closer at my pictures from today, i used a credit card and scraped my glass, got rid of all the hard to scrape tiny green algae.

tomorrow i'm going to whole foods to get 3gallons of rodi water for the weekly water change.

I like the tank man, really nice looking, esp. for how young it is. I don't think that's too many corals either. Let those babies grow and pack the place out!

Thumbs up!

i don't like how photobucket made my full tank shot so small, so here are two full tank shots, first with the tank lighting, second with the tank lighting plus flash.

thanks for all of the compliments.

as far as fish, could i pull off a pair of clowns?

Your "unkown coral on the left" looks like a spitting image of the Yellow Sarcophyton I used to have. It's a really nice toadstool type leather. Yours looks like it's in the baby stage.

AEALOVESHERGIRLS: yes the return does spin. it's called a hydor flo and it requires no power, the water pressure makes it spin. i love it. i bought it here, cheapest place i found: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1

dmits41: thanks for the ID. Some nice local reefers gave me some very nice deals on all of these corals. i picked out most of them from their tanks, but somehow that one slipped in there somehow...

Tank Looks great. Keep that Galexea out of strong current though or those sweeper tentacles will wipe out your tank. I've seen them reach across a 20 H and kill anemones and some softies too. It's a shame cause they are so cool looking.

No problem on that ID. You can check out my gallery if you want to see what it will look like when it gets bigger. It was one of my favorites, it will probably become one of yours too.
