Thanks Marc, Its been receiving a lot more TLC since you last saw it. I was able to get things under control over the holidays. My corals and fish certainly appreciated it.

As far as the basement goes, in light of the great economy, I have postponed any plans to finish it. Big changes at work so I want to be careful and not stick my neck out until the dust settles. Eventually, I plan to do an in wall down there. However, in the meantime, I am working on an upgrade to the tank upstairs.

Thanks man, I think I have something worked out assuming I can swing the $. Considering I spend most of my time in the office, I can't bring myself to move a tank downstairs until I finish the basement. Therefore, the new tank will have to fit in there.

We are undergoing a reorganization of the entire company across 5 divisions. Reading between the lines, that means a significant reduction in personnel. My goal is to make it through unscathed and without having to move to our HQ.

Where did you get your RO containers?

They're pickle barrels. I bought them locally used off of an ad in Craigslist. Here's a company selling them new as rain barrels.

do you ever notice your tds raising while in these barrels?

I haven't noticed any TDS creep in the tank. I have doing batch production (as apposed to continuous feed) to prevent TDS creep from the RO/DI unit as well.
