Ok, I got my new reflectors yesterday and they are pretty sweet! Big though. Looks like a sattelite dish.

Nice build Deuce,

What are the name of the reflectors you have the actinic's in? I use those lumenbrights also and would like to put some actinics in the hood when its finished, the way you have them angled in looks like the way to go.

The T5s are Helios T5HO IIIs. Its a complete fixture. May not be the best T5s out there but I just use them for dusk and dawn effects. With the lamp, they run around 35 bucks each.

Can you show the link where to buy the Helios T5HO IIIs. Thanks
Never mind. I found it

The helios fixtures are nice but keep in mind that the Helios fixture will only accomodate helios bulbs. They are a bit longer than the other brands. I have modified a UV actinic lamp to fit mine but since its an electrical modification, I will not get into that.

I think Russ is hosting the June? meeting Shannon, check the meeting calendar on our forum. There is a button at the top labeled "SCMAS meeting calendar" and you can see the meeting schedule for the year.
I think the tank will be starting to mature by then and should be pretty sweet to see.
I agree Russ' tank is always a sight to see.

Man I can imagine the mess that makes!
I remember as a kid eating lunch in our car outside a restaurant in California and saw a few of the cooks go out back, hop the fence and prop up a surf board right between the tracks to see what the Amtrack train would do to it.
It went everywhere!
