alI got my ATO today .. finally ...

even though it took a while to get (2 weeks) - i think it was worth the wait .. looks like its a great system.

I went with the Oceanus Atlas
http://oceanussystems.com/products/atlas.aspx

completed:
1. Sanded/Buffed/Polished - removed all scatches
2. touched up stand & canopy
3. RO/DI is installed
4. ran RO/DI water for ATO 1/2 way through house
5. picked up 200lbs. sand (dead) from Miami (treeguy)
6. fixed drywall & other walls
7. Tank moved to its final resting place
8. received ATO (http://www.oceanussystems.com/products/atlas.aspx)

TO BE completed:
1. plumbing needs to be done
2. make/BUY SUMP
3. figure out lights ($$$)
4. figure out flow - CL or Power Heads ($$$)
5. clean the sand
6. fill the tank w/ livestock ($$$)

I will post some pics of the ATO, the tank, stand/canopy & RO/DI system laster on this week if i can find the time.

make sure you clean the sand very well, i spent 4 hours cleaning mine and my tank is still so cloudy you can't see through it. This whole thing has been a complete nightmare for me.

This thread is worthless with out picts!!!

Btw I will have to come over and help clean sand since I have my new method

i'm gonna have to ask my neighbors to use their well water ... i'll just stick the hose down in the bucket & let it run for an hour or so .. maybe longer.

i should get some pictures today or tomorrow ... i was in miami yesterday .... and been busy this week.
