Ok i have had this thing for maybe 3 years and have yet to post a pic.
Havent lost a fish in about 2 years and just re-scaped the rocks.
It was 2 piles of rocks 1 on each side but i wanted tunnels and such.
So i built a pretty sterdy tunnel out of white egg crate and stacked my rocks on it creating a tunnel along the back, entering from both sides and in the front center. Return broke (ceramic shaft) during this massive water change and rock re-construction. Ignore the exposed eggcrate it will either cover in coraline or i will cover it with small rocks or rubble.

All suggestions and ideas greatly appreciated. I am in the process of getting my skimmer and lights so i can start growing corals. I got lazy on this tank about 6 months ago and have been battleing nitrates and nitrites but now things are getting back in check.
Thanks for looking everyone

Casey

3 tangs in that tank with no skimmer will cause some nitrate and nitrite problems, lol. If you have the nitrate and nitrite problem solved alreayd, you should be real good when you get a good skimmer like an H&S.

thanks flip. I actually had a Coral life 220 on here and it sucked bad so i just decided to change water and be more into the tank. But as you said i am in the process of buy an h&s 150 its the in sump skimmer from FinsReef. There actual store is near me and am good friends with the owners.

Thanks again for the lookin.

haha. I have 2 green fuzzy mushrooms. I dont have any lights that would grow any corals other than mushrooms at the moment and i dont have my skimmer in yet. Once those 2 things are purchased and running right i will load her down with frags.

Hi i have the same aquarium you have, the lighting setup depends on what u want to keep. I planning on going SPS/LPS and my lighting setup is an Odyssea 60" setup (wanted the 72" but found this used for cheap) with 3 MH 250w HQI (dont know the kelvins) and 4 PC actinics 460nm (2 96w and 2 65w). With this growth has been great but color dont. Currently changing actinics to 420nm and the MH to 15K. But when i get some money will change the lights to T5's the color combinations is great for what i have seen. Will try and post pics later.

cool deal thanks for the info on the lights. I think imma try to score me 3 sets of de 250 pendants. thanks again for your info and response.
