My 2 gal in 2 weeks

Well, wanted to show some of you guys a picture of my 2 gal before I get rid of it... I upgraded to a 10 gal

Picture of tank after 2 weeks, stable sg and ph is around 8.2

tons of pods and neat stuff, got alot of algae growing ... good or bad sign of water quality?

edit: I know i chose a bad substrate but I ran out of money on me at the store.. oops.
