In the sump, in between the equipment area and the refugium, I had orginally used some phosphate pads and generic filter pad material, but 2 weeks ago, I converted that section over to a "rubble rock" filtering area; it now fillted with LR.

Lighting wise I have a 175W 10K MH and 130W 420/460 actinic PC's on top and a "dual daylight" PC on the sump. For a skimmer I have an Aqua C Urchin.

I haven't gotten any pics of it yet, but I just put the system on a new home made stand tonight., so as sson as things perk up again, I;ll get some pics.

Also, since I switched to this new stand, I have noticed that I lost A LOT of head pressure on the returns. I am thinking that the ~ 12" rise really killed my pump's mojo. I need to upgrade.

tank system has been running since January.

Anyway, as always comment away!

man, people are really hopping all over this tank. I suppose I'll take it as a good thing that no one is voicing critizism.

at least the one comment was a good one.

nice tank, probably the most ghetto lighting rig I've ever seen.....not saying there's anything wrong with it

as soon as I get the pics uploaded from my camera, I'll post the pics of the tank on the new stand I built.

:) The lighting is A LOT less ghetto. :)

thanks for the comments

Andy

wow those turned out A LOT darker than I thought.

I'll get better shots soon.

I am thinking of picking up a dwarf angel to put in the tank, and I am going to a frag auction next Sat, so I'll have a more interesting tank to show off.

Very nice work!!
i might have gone another way with the color of the wood but other then that it is a kiler set up.

thanks! With the color I stained the wood, I was trying for a good contrast between the bright tank and a darker display stand. Overall, I think I would have liked to have had another coat of stain on the wood, but I like this too.
