The Time has finally come, after moving a gazillion times, getting married buying a house having childern and all of the renovations on the house...Its time to get this baby in its final destination; "IN MY WALL IN MY BASEMENT!"

Man it feels good.
As my thread subject line reads i have a 220 perfecto glass thats about 6 years old. I have a 60gallon octagon as my sump. I have had the tank drilled in the back wall 3 different places
(2) holes being 1 1/2 inch for drains from the tank and a 3rd being 1 inch for a return line from my sump.I will also be adding 2 overflows for better control of water in the main tank and added security for my sake of mind.

My idea is to have it as a 3 viewalble tank in the wall...
But depending on how it turns out i might only have 1 view.
Let me also add the entire basement is being completed not just a fish room etc...

The tanks dimensions are 72x24x30.
I have already purchased the following equipment.
Oceansmotions 8way-version 3
Aquacontroller 3
Baracude pump for closed cloop (8way)
Gex x-55 pump (skimmer)
MRC-3 skimmer (will be orderding the dual injector)
MRC-Calcuim reactor with single chamber
Mag 24 main return to tank from sump
72 inch lighing reflector with 3 mh 10k bulbs & 4 72inch actinic & vho's
Moonlighing lighting i attached on the reflectors outer body

I also want to start this off with asking...
"Can i remove the molding from the bottom of my tank, as a part of it have broken off and i'm concerned when its time to frame it won't have that flush look and it may even come unlevel due to the molding?"

i will also be adding pics as the time progresses

We have finished with the framing about 5 days ago and the drywall was put up and the basment was painted and we ended up with the final result of...

I'm not to pleased with the amount of space there is between the wall and the tank.(the framing) i think i'm going to close the 2 sides and just have a 1 viewed front.
i almost forgot i have aJBJ 1/3 Hp chiller too so

i hope so as well... as i have been working on the project i came across a thread that talked about silicon...well lets just say i'm pretty mad as i've been using silicon 2 with the mold resistant and its dangerous for our tanks... so i have to go back and undo my bulkheads... SUCKS! i also have new pics of the thus far progress i will post when i get home tonight!

ok sorry about the delay... i mean its not like anyones following this thread anyways but i'll continue to discuss the issues (multiple) i've run into... well let me start off by saying the tank i have pictured here on the above threads had a crack in it!

So i had to take it out and purchase a new one (this time with overflows) from all glass... i had built the tanks stand prior too not having to think about over flow plumbing etc... so i rebuilt it!

My next challenge was finding help to remove the cracked tank and replacing it with the new tank...

Well i removed the cracked tank and had it placed in my back yard... which i will provide a picture of...
BOY TALK ABOUT ISSUES!

I had to hear my wifes mouth about the amount of money the new tank would cost us... not as much as others here would have had to pay as i still have my fish maintences ein # account setup with one of the main distrubutors so i got it at wholesale price...

I also had to get all of the plumbing under control without leaks and that in its self was a challenge...

tonight i will provide the final picture of the new tank and the plumbing i setup with the 8 way motion closed loop and the drain pipes and the protein skimmer! everything looks great!
