I recently rearranged my tank...after about a year, I wansnt at all happy with the rock set up...I like this setup a bit better...its given me more room, and also allowed everything more light. Feedback and input is welcome

This tank has been very low maintenance for me...water changes every 2 weeks...that's about it. I get water from the LFS...I only feed the fish every few days...there's 2 false percs, a bicolor blenny, and a blood shrimp....

I'm rather ashamed to day I don't test for much...my ph is steady at 8.3, the Kh seems to be on the low side usually...around 8ish...(thats the only parameter I check on the regular). Temps range from 81 to 83 degrees...

I just ordered an Aqua C Nano Remora to hang on the front at night, might make everything a bit cleaner?

I've been feeding the tank some DT's every few days...I don't know how effective it really is.

your tank looks great. It wouldnt be an Orca would it?

curious?? as I just bought an Orca ra-05 and the lid looks the same.
What type/grade of lighting are you running??

Its one of the old 2004 JBJ 24s...the ones everyone was having cracking pblms. with (knock on wood)...

My plan is to get another bottom half of a JBJ 24, and use the extra hood I have on it. THe Nanocustoms 3.36 replaced the original, ya see.

I'd then, frag stuff and hold it in there....I wanna try to do a themed tank sorta, green and pink...cool microalage, pulsing xenia, and a pair of those pinkish colored skunk clowns...and then just kinda let it grow out...

anyway thats the plan :)

I have a 50/50...a 10,000, and an actintic (sp?)

If I had it to do over, I'd have gotten a MH or something...but at the time, it was the simplest solution for brightening up a tank I want to mess with as little as possible. I tell my friends sometime, that for as complicated as it all looks, its as easy as keeping goldfish provided you go slow, read up, and keep up.
