my 29g biocube build

Tank is looking good. I've been running the rapid led kit since January on my cube and love it. Any more updates on the skimmer performance? I was running the tunze 9002 but couldn't get it dialed with out an ato.

thanks, i got the Tunze working great. its in the sump where the level will never fluctuate and i found that for best skim i have the water about 1/2-1 inch below the waterline squiggle mark. lots of people make the mistake of always setting the 9002 right at that waterline mark but thats just the max water height. setting it higher off the water creates a better foam for me.

I'm not trying to troll( I think thts how u say it) but I can't see how anyone with a tank can overlook a ATO. Is there something I'm missing?

Not considered trolling, it's a legit question.

Well, with my 29g biocube with the top on my salinity swings less than .001 in two weeks with no top off. I do daily 1 gallon water changes 5 days a week (M-F), and on Sunday I do a 6-12 gallon water change, depending on how things look. I aim for 1.024-1.025 for my fresh saltwater, and measure 1.025-1.026 at any given point in my tank.

Without a top, I'd be hosed.

Thanks for posting. I am still debating whether to try a sump on mine so it is cool to have some examples on possible routes.

Awesome idea for doing pump tube holders in the video. I'm going to try that this weekend. I've been using alligator clips from work but they rust within a month.
