Yeah, that tank is really nice looking! The aquascaping is just so clean, and open, with yet a perfect amount of rocks. The corals are in the perfect spot added color and variety... a perfect tank IMO. Great job man!

How do you get so much diffrent coraline aglae colors, all I have is pink and purple. Tank is really cool looking though, and super clean.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I am a total noob at this and I am having a lot of fun !

Brian....the tank is just an all glass

Henry......the rock was purchased from a LFS that was going out of business. It was sitting in there tanks for several years. I guess I got lucky with the multiple colors. Better yet I only paid 2.99 a pound :)

Thanks again everyone,

Regards

Hey Now,

You should be very proud of that beautiful setup. I have always found 29gallons to be very hard to aquascape. I am very impressed! Keep up the great work!

Could you share with us your maintenance habits? You must have outstanding husbandry to have a tank looking that clean after 6 months!

take care,
Jared

Hi everyone,

I finally got around to making a canopy for my 29G. It only took 2 tries. The first one was bulky and heavy and I decided not to take the risk, so I built a 2nd one. For the amount of money I spent on tools and supplies it would have been cheaper to have someone else make one for me :)

Overall, the tank is doing well, just recently addedd a watchman goby and a green closed brain.

As to jaredt question on maintance.....
- top off h2o everyday
- 5 gallon water changes every 7-8 days
- scrap algae off the glass everyday
- add c balance weekly

NIIIIICE!

I've got a 29g and also running 195W PC. Is yours a 3x65w fixture? What bulbs are you running?

Definitely one of the nicer looking 29's I've seen in awhile.
